That's almost what I feel like today....except I'm working while smoking a rack of ribs, so no sunshine or beers.  But it's still a good day!

So what's the story with that meat cake? Looks incredible.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

It started out like this-




When I saw that marbling I was like "Oh hell yeah you're coming home with me baby"

I'll never understand why people buy brisket for $5 lb when they can buy Rib roasts for not much  more and get a far superior cut with all that sexy marbling.

So then she got the rub after a slather of evoo- coarse salt, black pepper and Montreal Steak Seasoning.


Left her on for a while til she poked out rare-
