18 master touch - burgers and taters
« on: April 08, 2016, 06:09:16 PM »
Wanted to do a quick cook after work. Picked up some fresh ground chuck from the butcher and fired up the 18 master touch.

Taters with nails. Sweets sprayed with coconut oil and Idaho with olive. Sweet potatoes and coconut oil are a match made in heaven!

Roasting some peppers - red and poblano

18 inch kettles can accommodate quite a bit of grub!

Burgers on the craycort!

No wind - awesome column of goodness from the little guy! I threw a chunk of persimmon before throwing the patties on

Burgers done

This little grill I modded last summer is fun to cook with (tel tru thermo in lid, CI craycort, and lid bale) it holds temp like a champ!

Nice bud. I really like using the craycorts also. I re-season them and put them up in the winter and break them back out in the spring. They cook wonderfully but do require alot more maintenance than a standard ss grate. That 18" is beautiful.

Thanks - that is some good advice to season the grates up good and store away for the winter. They required a good scrubbing and re-season when I opened it up but not too bad.

Good job on the cook. I love chiles on burgers.

You have some nice gear there. That 18 turned out great.
