Hey y'all, I have a question about the ambiant probe for the Igrill2. Does it matter which way it faces the charcoal in a kettle or is it just the distance away. The reason I ask is I'm figuring it reads the temp from the tip, so I'm curious if it needs to face the coals or face the side. Thank you in advance!

It shouldn't matter which way it's pointing.
