Ok so the gentleman texted me yesterday, said he would take $75 bottom price so...i went for it.
ER code 1996 in awesome shape.
Original owner, said the ONLY reason he was selling it was because the wife surprised him with a new grill ( no idea what kind). Only issue is a slight bit of fading on the lid. The ash sweep is perfect, he had the ash sweep handle and bucket handle turned to the back so I wanted to rotate it to the front. I removed the thumb screw by hand!. Gonna give a little spit and polish this weekend and throw some meat on it. Oh...he never used the original wire charcoal baskets..so he threw them away...dammit.

That fella there, done cleaned up pretty good!!!  Good grab.
Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

@Darko , Patience.....I waited a year for my first performer, then this one came quickly. Passed my other performer on to a friend and kept the SSP.

No, it's not …. Patience in acquiring Weber kettles and other related items is key.
People will be cleaning out their sheds and garages now, or very soon.  Keep your eyes peeled …. and be patient.

And, hurry, because I will be after them, too …  ;) ;)
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Don't just rely on keeping your eyes peeled,  ie checking CL.   Use apps and services to get automatic notifications whenever an ad with "weber|webber|grill|bbq"  gets posted.

Also,  depending on your area,  you might widen out your search to areas nearby.   I'm St up for 150 mile radius.
