Dukes Pattimelt
« on: February 22, 2013, 09:48:22 AM »
I have been craving a burger for a while and finally made it last night. I thought I would post a picture of burgers I made last night. They were really good.

I dusted these with a little "Dukes Dust" and cooked them on the upper rack full direct and topped them with a little colby. I also used a touch of oak.

Then I put them together and added a dollop of "Dukes Dressing". It went great on the fries too.

Here it is cut with the green onion and seaweed. ;)

Just kidding on the use of Duke in everything. I thought it just sounded good.  :D

That's an interesting way to do fries.  How exactly did you do those?  Frozen or thawed?
Do they come out crispy?  Are they smokey flavored?

Burger looks awesome too btw!

Thanks for the kind comments and questions everyone!

Jeff, the dressing is my own little concoction that we really like. One part Mayo and one part Schriracha to your liking. You can also thin it down with h20 if you want. We love it on the fries too.

Ted, on the fries I just buy frozen. I start them indirect in my basket until they are well thawed and then add a little spice if they aren't seasoned already and I always add garlic. I toss them direct to get a little color before I remove them. I hope to make some fresh one day soon.

Siriracha sauce with mayo? Hmmm I may have a reason to buy mayo now.

Yeah, give Dukes Dressing a shot Craig! 8)

Thanks Ron, yeah I am using it right now. I am starting to cook in a completely different way. A lot closer to the way I believe George had in mind.
