Weber EG-500 electric kettle

I've gotten my hands on an EG-500 but I have no information on it. As a matter of fact I had no idea something like this existed.

It had the one touch venting, wooden handles (with a single screw) so I'm assuming it's '83 to '00.
But I was wondering if anyone had anymore information.

I think he took the pictures at the WeberOriginalStore in Berlin. I was there a couple years ago and remember this place, they also have a Ranger up there on display.

Last week the second WeberOriginalStore Germany opened 20 minutes from where I live, if you guys want some pictures, let me know!
