After a brief hiatus...
« on: February 17, 2013, 08:29:25 PM »
All fellow WKC folks! It has been a while since I've been on due to a spill I took which resulted in a complete tear in my right rotator cuff and minor tears in two other tendons in my shoulder. But, after 4 weeks, I'm back with the help of executive chef (my daughter Morgan Kelly).

Can you believe this?! How I get to spend the nex 2 months!  >:(

My executive chef...

Lamb chops marinated in olive oil, honey infused basalmic and cilantro

grilled lamb chops with grilled red potato and arugula salad with blue cheese vinagrette

Its good to be back!!

Tough deal about gettin' bashed.....

Look at the brite side, you've got a great green kettle to cook on, tremendous help ( probably lose your cooking job if stuff keeps coming out like the chops 'n' taters  :D Go Morgan !!! ) & bit of unplanned relaxation time & a great dinner to sit down to currently.........

    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

Welcome back KG! Sorry to hear about the spill you took. Morgan obviously knows her way around that grill. That plated shot looks fantastic! We wish you a speedy recovery. :)

That looks great!  Hope your recovery is fast.  So does Morgan have her "own" grill yet?  Looks like she is gonna be very interested in cooking some more!

Thanks Jeff! She doesn't have her own yet, but since my spill she has taken control of all grilling operations! Does that qualify as a hostile takeover?!
