Finally made my Turds

Finally made my turds.  Thanks for all the help from all you guys.  They turned out great.  Maybe not as neatly wrapped as 1buckie's but turned out great.  I used whole jalapeņos not the halves.  I stuffed them with cream cheese mixed with a little bit of taco seasoning, Colby Jack cheese, and used Hormel Black Label regular thin cut bacon as directed.  Cooked them about an hour and a half indirect low and slow.  Best I ever made thank you all for your help!

About done.  Notice the 250 deg temp.  That was not easy.



All plated with the left over cream cheese with chopped jalapeņo and some salsa mixed in. Killer!

Hooked for sure!.  Another thing I noticed is some turds are on the mild side and some are omg hot.  It's like playing Russian Roulette.  Awesome!

Now you will throw these on everytime you are smoking something.  They make such a good mid-smoke snack!

Took me a long time (relatively) to realize that you can chuck them on anytime......most of the way thru a pork butt cook works well !!!!


Those look grate, esp. w/ the dip !!!!
