This came with a kettle I picked up
The owner assured me he bought it with the kettle but couldn't tell me what it's for
It sits perfectly between the bars on the cooking grate but what the heck is it ???

If this were the liars club...
Oh that's a light protector. It sits on the main grate, you put a light in it and the protector prevents your grilling utensils from breaking the light. The light is powered by the heat.

Otherwise I haven't the faintest idea what that is

Ahhh, I know! It's a weiner-stacker. You load it up like a cord of wood, and the ones on the bottom are slid out as they are done, dropping the next level. That way not all the dogs are done at once and go cold when they are sitting on the serving plate. You can load more from the top and go on for hours. Saves a lot of real-estate on the grill too.

That's an odd one.....
Best guess would be a 'brisket bender', but it's use would be rare enough that I don't
see them actually making something like this...

If you get a brisket that's too long to fit the cooker, set the gizmo under the middle for the 1st part
of the cook (thereby bowing it upward & shortening the length)
Remove after it's cooked & shrank some & will then fit................

Probably not, but my best guess?

Hogsy, put that thing on the grate and take a pic. Just curious to see what it looks like installed.

It also looks chrome plated, not ss. Maybe Hogsy is messing with us and took an old soap dispenser holder he had from an old shower vanity set ;)
