Hell of haul, congrats.  Even if they were all blacks, the sheer mechanics of the trip is impressive.
All black?
Two black
One gray (not faded black)
One burgundy
One brown

But yeah, I couldn't believe how everything fell into place.

Haha, aplogies for poor grammar.  I meant it as even if you had picked 5 black grills and not the variation you actually grabbed.  Regardless of color or rarity, pulling it off with a box truck almost full of band gear across that many miles is very impressive.

Sorry, misunderstood you. Was actually told by @einrej that it would make a nice read, so that's why I put it on here.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

I try to make any trip over 50 miles (one-way), a multi-stopper whenever possible. When I head to Chicago for just one item, I stop at a Portillos for a beef & hot peppers: multi-stop!!! When I head to Madison for one item, I stop at the Under Armour outlet: multi-stop!!!

Looking at the pic, I was 99.99% sure it was a true Gray. Figured it to be a 90's era, and that black doesn't fade like the earlier black does.

18" Plum is done. Looked burgundy, until I cleaned & shined it up. Did find a 1/4" chip on lid's edge.

It's plum right now, might be burgundy next week.

It actually darkened up when I cleaned it up. There was a light haze on it that changed my "old a$$" eyes perception.

Getting more use out of the Sears Econo parts. Had a dimpled axle leg (looked like it was shot with a pinball) on another project.  Had to trim 1/8" off to match the Weber leg I was replacing.

Think this fella surely deserved it more!!!
