Scotch egg lunch

Lunch was great today! Scotch eggs with homemade fermented kraut and a salad.

One link per egg 2 rubbed, 2 naked.


Snake set up with brick shield, Apricot wood.


1.5 hours at 225-235

Thanks guys. You just wrap a hard boiled egg with one link of choice, it's messy work use gloves and cold sausage. Since my family dislikes spicy I go with brats or mild Italian like these. Then I rub a few for me. I got lucky with the yolk, usually it's more hard boiled. Everyone should try these.

That is an exact cook on the egg. Artful. It is very easy to be over or under and you did it perfectly. Bravo!

Nice looking meal James! I'm thinking that the grilling in bare feet must be genetic and passed down through generations of the family tree lol ;)
