I gave the gas conversion a run tonight in the kettle to test the heat outputI set it up in a Mastertouch and after 5 mins on high the lid thermometer had maxed outThere were no grates or food in the kettle I just wanted to see how hot it could getShould be able to do a great pizza with this conversion
Duke, stole this from the charbroil cast iron thread. Look at the King Cooker 6" replacement. They also have a regulator kit with adjustment. It would just need an extension to get the heat away from the hose. Some type of diffuser might be needed.(CI or fire bricks) Just some options.http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopNavCatalogSearch?Ntt=replacement+burner&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&N=0&storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_10051_27494_-1?ICID=CRT:0260-40037-0002

They are a good price though. I am thiing these could also be useful for winter grilling when it's in the 30's. I think Hogsy's is the ticket, too bad they only sold those in Oz.
