@MartyG , that is some nice looking wood. Good to hear that nobody got hurt, and no property damage now, and in the future.
First off, I gotta say that there have been some
OUTSTANDING cook-ups, so far! Keep up the inspiration.
I got nothing fancy for my Day 3 contribution. It was a bachelor day, as the wife was working.
I decided to cook-up the very last remaining package from
THIS stuff. Some venison tenderloin.
I like to keep plenty of el dente potatoes on hand, as they don't require as long to cook.
Got the 18" OTG fired up to warm up the taters, then cranked the heat to cook the venison.
The pieces appeared to have 3 sides to each piece, so it was 2 minutes a side done direct.
Just some fresh cracked Himalayan pink salt, and fresh cracked pepper on the pieces.
I let it rest after it was done for about 5 minutes. It turned out to be medium-rare, with most of it being on the medium side. Delicious!
