Going to check it out this afternoon when the guy gets off work. Interested to see what kind of shape it is really in.

Cool.  Make sure to check the left side where the firebox bolts to the frame.  That is the #1 area for rust/rot.  I'd also give the manifold under the dials a good look.  If it is rotted out, you might want to pass.  As I believe the manifolds are NLA.  Burner tubes, flavorizer bars, , and grates are all easy replacements.  I waited months looking for an older Genesis with wood tables, but I ended up caving in for one with the thermoplastic ones instead.  What a fantastic grill.......for a gasser

Pass. Got up there and it was a pile of junk. It wasn't an individual, some shop that gathers up stuff from garage/estate sales then tries to sell it. The right rear was almost rusted away and there were several spots where someone had done a poor job of spot welding.
