wsm on a performer cart
« on: May 22, 2015, 04:33:13 PM »
Just popped the wsm onto a performer cart...

Removed performer kettle and wsm fits perfectly.

Cut up a large aluminum car floor plan and used that as a base on the wire rack.

Def recommend this simple setup...the table set with wsm is handy and it raises the wsm about 6 inches which makes it less painful to access cooking racks..

Anyone else kit wsm with performer cart?...im looking for simple ideas for a more stable permanent base..on top of the wire rack.

Aluminum sheet metal in that size seems pricey?

What size WSM? An aluminum water heater pan might work; I think they're about 24" diameter. I've seen square, galvanized pans with short lip but can't recall where.

Right after you finish uploading your pics there will be a text box at the bottom of the page where the page will automatically generate the code you need. Select "direct embed" from the drop down then just copy and paste the code into your post. (Hope this makes sense!)

Lmk if it's still giving you troubles!

I think if you hit the "explore" link you'll see it and others' recent uploads. If you can't delete don't worry about it.

First button lower left on this forum (right above smiley face) inserts IMG tags that must surround the image's full URL. Hit the Quote to my response here to see how these images were inserted.

Might wanna rotate em next time. And downsize the pixels prior as well ... I used links found in the "Embed codes" where the image is, one the page you linked to.

Original upload, too big:
