Was looking at some of mom and dads cookbooks and ran across this 70's Weber cookbook.

2nd and 3rd pages. I love the colors and the waterfall!!



70s Weber and Snowmobiles  *** Would liked to have seen them being pulled on a sled to get that spot, and where is the SMOKE?

That is pretty neat. Love that they went through all the trouble to put the grills on a waterfall. Very interesting ways to showcase their products.

These are neat! I posted another thread a couple years ago showing the comparison photos between this 1972 edition and the 1979 edition. They reshot the waterfall photo and color edited some of the avocado green kettles to appear dark green. While others were entirely different shots all together.

Nice find shoestring that's a awesome old cookbook! I've never noticed this before but in the waterfall shot it almost looks like a green or maybe even a cado?! offset SJ in the water? Now that would be sweet.

Love the waterfall image because it's just so ridiculous the way the kettles are being "used" there.

That's the super elusive Sage green SJ from
1972-73. They even made gas kettles in that color in '72. Which is also pictured in the cookbook. I have two copies of this book. It's pretty sweet.

Those are some awesome photos.  Weber really knew how to sell their product and just being used in all types of situations back then.  Its a shame we don't get similar advertising now.
