@fishawn. Did those fillets spend any time direct over the vortex cone?  If so how long?

Based on my vortex my guess is mostly indirect with reverse sear at the end to get nice marks on them

Those marks ... I'm tellin' ya man, enough heat and solid standard grate is all you need for that! Everything just looks fantastic.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Yes, seared first, standard 26'r grates, finished indirect. Probably about 25-30 seconds over the Vortex, then a turn and 25-30 more +-. Does not take long at all. Oiled the steaks and CBP and Kosher only.
