Rib Eyes on a Red Head
« on: April 03, 2015, 03:36:14 PM »
Hi All, new to the site but not to Webers. Just picked up a 1990 Red Head for $10. Fixed her up a bit and decided it's time to cook something. First the fixin'.

Brought her home.

Made new handles, got a new ash catcher and added a lid vent knob.

Time to cook.

Rib Eyes ready with a little EVOO and Monteal Steak. Bakers on the gasser. Stay tuned.

Beautiful. That plate would cost you $75.00 at a fancy restaurant here in Chicago!

You just put a big hankering on me for a Rib eye steak. Excellent job on the dinner and nice save on the kettle.

Nice job on the handles and for the plate. Were the asparagus grilled as well?
