18 Pat Pending R R R

Last month, I was fortunate to pick up an early 70's Weber 49er off C/L in my area. (Rescue).
The kettle was in good structural shape, but the legs, handle, wheels, and triangle all needed some love:

I followed @SixZeroFour 's WKC restoration guide to get the kettle back to prime condition (Restore):

Thanks for the great guides Matt - they are very helpful!  http://weberkettleclub.com/weber-grill-restoration-interior-and-exterior-kettle-cleaning/

I plan to get the 49er dirty this weekend with a cook for some guests (Respect).

In an ongoing relationship with a kettle named Bisbee.

What a beauty of an 18 Winz, and you did an excellent job cleaning her up!

It looks like you freshened up the whitewalls as well? That's definite bonus points 8) Great job!
