Pork steaks.....
« on: December 28, 2012, 06:39:15 PM »
I found these at meijer.  I like that their pork steaks are cut thick.

Season-all for the lil ones

Applewood Rub for the big people....just tried this and we really like it.

These were pretty big so the coals in the middle really worked out. This is my only action shot as it was pretty darn cold and started to snow mid cook.

I put some Stubbs Hickory on the applewood ones and some brown sugar sweet on the others.  Also left a couple nekkid.

It was a cold night and late dinner so I just heated some Bushs maple bacon beans and some buttered canned corn.

Since the boys see me taking pics of my food all the time and they know that I post them they "arranged" their meat and wanted me to take pictures of them too.

Here my Baby Hulk is waving HI!

Those helpers are great!  I have a pair of each!

I like using pork steaks when experimenting with something new.   Cheap if its not so good and cooks up quick.  just tried some honey Dijon citrus/onion/garlic marinade last night after I pulled these off.
