Is this a Weber?

Is this a Weber Smokey Joe? It sure looks like one, but the vent on the lid doesn't look right? It looks too small? Any thoughts?

This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

I have the same one...its a "C". Looks to be in pretty good shape. Mine was only used once by the former owner and it looks brand new. I paid $20 for mine.

good eye Troy! I would guess that means someone has drilled a extra hole where one shouldn't be.

Nah...I have one exactly like it.  It's a "C" which puts it in 1982, after the switch to the single screw.  I turned mine into a mini smoker.  I like it because it has the three wheels on the bowl...

I've seen the folding legs on the 1981 (C) 'Joes. I've seen a 1983 (E) SJ that had the stationary wire legs. Single screw handle makes me think its an '81 or '82. Either way, someone snag this!!!  :o It's clean and would make an awesome mini WSM with it's bowl vents.
