My stuff came today and I am very impressed with the quality of all the parts.  Thanks @zavod44 for the awesome stuff.  I almost feel like its too nice to use but its going on my blue performer anyway.

Those are beautiful. What kind of wood? Should contrast the blue nicely.

Not sure what he used, I told him to surprise me and use his judgement as to what would look good on the blue kettle.

I always tell him to surprise me. Never seen an order, till I open the envelope. Never disappointed! I take that back. I have seen one handle, before it was sent out. That one didn't go to me though.

I may have to invest in these wood rollers and wooden turn tabs. They look amazing!

The million dollar question is how the hell do I get the plastic tab off of the top lid vent?  I have tried prying it and it does not want to budge.  I am afraid if I pry too much I am going to bend the vent since its just aluminum.

Thanks, I read that thread earlier and still cant seem to get it.  I could just cut it off but would prefer not to do that.  I will try again after dinner.

Brian had these beautiful Bocote handles on Ebay and I was lucky enough to get them. They look great on my Euro MT and I can't wait to see how they look in the sunlight

The bowl handle has an unbelievable live edge that you can see runs through the top piece, simply BEAUTIFUL

heat it up with heat gun and squirt couple shots of wd40 inside. Wiggle it ad pull up. Should come right out.

Your wood and Scott Zee handles look  amazing.  2 more days for me to get mine. Very excited!

Mine is coming in a few days and I still don't know exactly what I am getting. I let him know what I wanted and he takes it from there. I know I won't be disappointed so it is all good.

I got the plastic vent lever off, I was able to lay a screwdriver down along it and pull up enough to get it to pop off without bending the vent.  Thanks for the words of wisdom.  Now I just need to roll her out into the sun and get some photos of everything installed.
