I can confirm that a 21lber will *just* fit onto a 22.5 kettle. 

But srsly, I think 21 lb turkeys are genetic anomalies and freakishly out of proportion.  Hard to cook well, too.  I don't buy anything bigger than 14 lbs... if I need more meat, I get another turkey and fire up another kettle.

Mike, I think they are more genetic "experiments or accomplishments" accomplished using god knows what chemicals/hormones/etc. I have no need for anything that big. Like you said, we will be doing a 12 and 11 separately this year.
