Thanks. That old Genesis 1000 is my favorite. I bought it out of state off a member of another Weber board I frequent.

As luck would have it, when I got back from picking that one up I found the exact same grill with original wood locally here on Long Island... Since I'm addicted I had to pick it up... Not bad for $50.  I'm gonna restore this one myself... It has a perfect frame and I'm going to go full bore on the rest and have it all sandblasted and put stainless innards.... Going to be a winter project. I'll probably sell one of them when I'm done... Here she is...
