Short run of good fortune

Wait for it……

BOOM!

NIB C&B Performer.  A couple of weeks ago the CL listing appeared at 11 PM and I responded by midnight.  The lady who listed it told me that she and her husband put it on their wedding gift registry but never opened it.  It sat in their storage unit and they just had a baby so had to clear room.  When I picked it up the box hadn't been opened - I opened it to confirm that it was the C&B green. I got it for $150!

Then last night I picked this up:

I am the third forum member to own this beauty.  dwnthehatch was the original owner and peaspurple was kind enough to part with it.  Inexplicably it's never been cooked on:

I like to think that Troy and Shane were saving her for me.

I've seen the 26.75 in pics but they look much bigger in person.  Here it is next to a tree in my yard:

Another pic next to another one of my Webers:

It's huge!

Anyway, I've had a run of good fortune and wanted to share the experience with my friends on the WKC.  Now, if the weather will cooperate, I plan to cook on one of them this afternoon!
