It was on CA for $30. Offered 15 and was willing to walk away. He relented. Just finished grilled sirloin and vegetable salad. Yum!

Cool deal, Andrew !!!!!

I've got several of those & a lot of times one running along with a 22...........sometimes, that 18's all that's needed, too !!!

nice addition for a real good deal............. 8)

1buckie: I spent literally all Dat cleaning both. I haven't cleaned my 22 ever. I used a stainless brush on my drill and I'm still not 100% happy, but they are both worlds better.

Andrew, I'd be kinda careful going at it with wire in a drill.....possible you could scratch into the porcelain, buddy.....not really criticizing, just hate to see it scratch & that might happen.....

If it gets hard & crusty enough, maybe resort to oven cleaner or the old standby, razor scraper....

Folks have used these guys to great effect......the blade will bow slightly & curve with the bowl & take up all but the very toughest stuff......

1buckie: thanks for the tip. Used and broke one of those before resorting to the drill. 5+ hours on two grills and not a scratch! Definitely tested on an inconspicuous area first. BTW would highly recommend for caked on cleaning of kettles and grates.

OK....Good Deal.....just that I've gone overboard on stuff with the wire wheels before (not grills, other stuff) & was just concerned..... 8)
