Karma, I think I'm at the end of the ride for a while
« on: August 01, 2014, 06:37:32 AM »
Been on a Karma high for a couple weeks. Started with a diamond in the rough find. It hasn't been posted yet. I passed that on to member, it was logical to do, as he has the passion and collection to support that find. We made a trade that made sense to both of us, after all, they are just painted metal... ;)

76/77, now patiently waiting for a pre-76.

Also came across another find end of last week, wasn't on my bucket list, but $15 for a WSM? Who wouldn't. Cheaper than buying the charcoal ring that I was about to purchase for the RK...

I thought it was a typo and was supposed to say $150 which is still a good deal... $15 is just crazy!

Sweet! And that red looks stunning as well!

Trust me, I thought the same. I handed him the $15 and he said thank you very much. I was anticipating that he might have had a typo...

I've been dying for a WSM craigslist score let alone $15. They're  rare up here (Long Island/NYC) and the people who have them, hold them. Someone posted one as part of a garage sale and we emailed about it but they stopped responding. I'll keep on kettle smoking while I wait and watch. Congrats on the score.
