The courier picked it up on Wednesday so hopefully it's on my doorstep this afternoon
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

I'm waiting to see it!  As I said I think I have some parts that are the same as those on your grill.  If I can't use them maybe you can....

So i arrived home from work today to find this package on my doorstep finally
It was like Christmas, remember Weber didn't start selling there wares in OZ til 1975, so this was like finding my Holy Grail
I unwrapped it and was pretty stoked to see what great condition it is in
I gave it a quick clean and she came up like brand new
Notice the height of the handle its an inch higher than a normal kettle and the overall height of the kettle is 4 inches higher than a standard kettle

I'm thinking the G in the serial number makes it a 1985 model

Two holes in the bowl, one larger than the other, one for the igniter and one for the grease

Two lid holders.....not sure why

Burner in indirect position

Burner in direct position

I hooked up the gas and it fired up easily, The direct and indirect function works well
Its missing a few things like the grease cup, high/low knob and the igniter.
But apart from that is looking sweet
I gave Weber a call to see if they still have the manual for it and to my surprise they did
Parts may be a problem though.... hopefully my good friend Brian can help me out there
Cheers
Joel

Looks great Hogsy! How did you go about removing the burner? I would like to do remove mine on my performer cart model.
Your pans looks look better than mine, as I don't get a true seal in indirect mode. Let me know if your able to get some parts.
If you can supply the part number for the two pans in the bottom, it would be greatly appreciated.
