Seeing Double
« on: June 13, 2014, 12:05:35 PM »
Took a break and headed up fishing for a few nights with the kids. As we came back into cell service the first message I see is from BBQ Medic , it reads simply ' MBH Spokane, get it  ! Lol

Thanks BBQ Medic .

I have my daughter who's  7 pull up the CL app as were driving  and we get the number and call, it's just listed and were all set to go look at it . The seller is a great guy and this is his 81 year old Dads grill , been stored indoors for years and Dad has to sell his house to get into something more manageable. The Seller is a Gulf War Veteran who would BBQ all over the world where ever he was stationed, he still has a nice performer and so I turned him on to this site, he's really excited about that, I showed him some pictures of kettle chicken and he's all in !

I was thrilled when I saw handle and then the " B " , I showed the seller mine and he was happy they were going to reunite after 34 years.
He told me his neighbor has a black one in his basement too and it's old, he's going to let me know ;)

Here it is

Best lower Daisy wheels I've ever seen, no bent tabs , no bent stops all turn perfectly.

Just needs a bath !

Great deal......glad they're hangin' together.......only thing that could be better is if the neighbor has a "B" & wants to unload their's !!!!

Great story, its nice to hear what a grill meant to the family! Also it fits into your family of MBH's also really well.

Agent X once told me, "classic grills have a way of ending up where they belong" that couldn't be more true in this case.  Great story and great pick up....
