Don't forget about the platinum series of kettles if you don't need what the newer performers/SS performer have like a basket or the gas assist! This was my first kettle with a table and I really liked it.

Ted, the model that you have is my favorite.  I have owned two, I currently have a SS but I think I am going to sell if I find a nice enough performer like yours.
