Lid bail system
« on: May 31, 2014, 11:43:53 AM »
Ok so I've got this cart built and operational, now i just need something on the side to hold the lid, any ideas?
Ive thought about a Slide-Aside, or just something to use the lid hook on, or making my own bail.

Something on the side to hold it, a hook would be easy to knock a lid off , I'd personally want something I could just put it in like on a performer but out of the way .

Thanks! I too think that a performer tuck away would work great, but i think they only work on the edge of a grill, not against a straight edge like my cart

Pm'ed you hogsy, looks very nice. Does the lid come into contact with the wood when it is stored like that?

That hanger looks nice, but wouldnt the hot lid burn the wood? Guess you could omit the wood...
