Perving on Kent Island
« on: April 22, 2014, 11:37:59 AM »
I had work out of town and decided to drive a different route home. I spotted these kettles less than 5 miles from my house. It's an older rural area of the island. I will attempt to pick these up.

First is a brownie MBH that was laying on it's side.

Second is a redhead under a fallen tree.

Wish me luck.

Judging by how poorly they're being treated, I'd say you could get them for free!  They definitely need to be rescued.  Good luck!

Good luck, the owners should be more than willing to give them to you, obviously they don't care about them.

I love cold calling on kettles. You get a little rush from it. You let me know if you wanna part with that brownie if you score it. I've been hunting for one of those.

Some people like trades better than cash... If you have a decent ready to use grill, you might try a 2 for 1 trade..

So keep trying one day someone will be home and you will get hopefully.

I just got my fourth red head Sunday. I went to the door on saturday and ask to see it the older guy said look at it and take it away.
Went back on Sunday and got it. Its in bad shape will need a complete rebuild, it is a "K".
