Ash pan cleaning...

I have a 22.5 OTS with the saucer type ash pan underneath. I am wanting to clean the ash pan. Does anyone know if it will hurt it to spray it with Easy-Off oven cleaner?

This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

Hey, I have heard that the caustic nature of the Easy-Off stains the aluminum. Can someone confirm this?
