So, we were watching Misery this past weekend. It seems the Weber Kettle is a minor actor in this moving, prolly has about 4 scenes in the movie with the Weber present. The Kettle was upstairs in his cell/room, we he has to burn his manuscript (Lime green I believe), then she pulls it away out of the room. Then the kettle is down in basement for some long shots. Then, in one of the final scenes, James Caan is in the basement, raises his hand up and hits the aluminum ash catcher on the bottom of the kettle and the Sheriff hears it from outside (consequently it gets the sheriff killed).
Thought it was cool to have that much screen time and be involved in the movie to a degree. I vote for 'best supporting prop' in a movie!
Any one else see a Weber in movie?
