This is a tale about a man in search of a hot yet sweet bowl of chili. It started after I've made many a bowl of chili and I finally found a place that I really liked "Just Turkey" now I'm not a turkey chili guy but that's a great bowl of chili. I tried to make it an NOPE! So onto the next bowl.

So my last trip up north I picked up (Ground Venison, Ground Elk, and Ground Buffalo) I found a recipe that had sweet and heat the name helped me pick the meat (Colorado Buffalo Chili).

I loved it. My wife had some then proceeded to drink two glasses of milk. Lol

Ingredients is as follows...

1lb ground Buffalo

1/2 teaspoon of cumin

Cayenne pepper to taste

1 can diced tomatoes with green Chili's

1 can of tomato soup

1 can of kidney beans drained

1 can of chili beans partly drained

1 med onion ruff chopped

1 poblano chili peppers seasoned and grilled then ruff chopped

1 green pepper seasoned and grilled then ruff chopped

1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic

As you can see mostly items I almost always have on hand.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

That roasted poblano in there sounds like a really good flavor.  For my palate that recipe wouldn't be too spicy, think I am going to copy it some time.

Thanks!

That's some good lookin' chili.
