Reheating pork butt

I smoked a butt a few weeks ago and cut up a few chunks then separately froze them in vacuum sealed bags.

I want to try reheating one of them in the sealed bag in boiling water, has anyone here done that? Anytips?

Should I leave the chunk frozen or thaw it in a bowl of cold water first?

Do you let the water boil the entire time the meat is in there or bring water to a boil then turn stove off and let it come up to temp?

Thanks for the help!

How big are the chunks?  I usually throw a 1.5 lb bag of pulled pork (not chunks) in simmering water for about 30 minutes and it comes out perfect.

I throw mine in frozen.  My guess is a frozen chunk will take longer because my pulled pork bags are smashed flat before I freeze them.

Mine are probably 1-1.5lb chunks frozen
