I'm making wings next week and need to know how many pounds fit on a 22 inch kettle.  I don't mind having extra, but don't want to run short.  Thanks!

I buy fresh whole wings at sams. If I discard the wingtip and separate the two wings, I can get somewhere around 48 max but it's fairly crowded.

That's one whole package at sams

I want to say I can fit a 4lb frozen bag on a 22.5 kettle but don't know how many wings that is. This would be all "pieces," no tips.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

If you have a spare cooking grate, preferably non-hinged, you can place it on top of the first grate by orientating it upside down and perpendicular.  This'll give you a second layer of cooking space.

I'll be trying that this weekend. Never  thought of it before
