Ranch kettle cover
« on: October 07, 2016, 08:04:22 AM »
Anybody need a cover for a ranch kettle?  The Cover Store is having a sale up to 40% off the Elite series. Thanks to @Bbqmiller,  I  ordered the beige round Fire Pit Cover 48 DIAMETER x 25 H and it fits great.  Now, the green is a better deal at $27.99 versus $36.99 for the khaki plus shipping.

According to them there is no difference in the table cover and the fire pit covers.

You might look around and find a discount or free shipping code to save a few dollars more.

Yes, I need one.
The one you're talking about, is the item number 730.GR2 ?

That's it.  Like I said I got the khaki colored one.  Number 730.GR2 is for the green color which I really think I actually like better, and is now priced lower.  There is a hold down strap that runs under the grill from one side to the other.  It's kind of a pain to connect and probably wouldn't be needed except for long term storage outside in windy conditions.

Hard to believe Weber doesn't offer a cover for that grill.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
I bought one that was suggested on another BBQ site but the dang thing did not fit so i sent it back.
Have not found a good one yet. I store my Ranch in the back of the garage and I just want to keep the dust off it.
Right now, i only have a large beach towel draped over it.

Also ordering (from the same site) an outdoor faucet winter cover. I heard these things work so much better than the Styrofoam domes...
but then, you living in North Carolina may not feel the below zero temps too often.

Here is a photo....best I could do in a hurricane!  There is a screen mesh vent on each side that you can't really see.

My pleasure!  I paid a lot more for mine but my grill is now protected.  When I ordered, I asked if and when they had sales on the covers and was told usually around holidays.  I never thought about Columbus Day or I would have waited!

The green looks grate!
