hot dog day 2016 (July 14th)

I wish I was making this up, but, I'm not.  I had no idea about this until I heard it on the radio.

By then, I was about to take off a couple dogs from the grill.  Wife is working late, so these are just for me ….  :D 8)

Bacon wrapped, some homemade back bacon AKA Canadian Bacon and cheddar cheese …
Added a small amount of dijon mustard and hot sauce with a pickle on the side …. Fantastic meal !!

Stole your idea last night.  Turned out great.  The bacon really captured the apple smoke I had going.  It absorbs smoke 10 times more than a hotdog would on its own. Oh and I thought about your bacon wrapped dogs last night when my girlfriend informed me that the entire month of July is apparently National Hotdog Month.
