Great way to end the weekend! Tatonka Dust burger smoked around vortex with cherry, topped with Sriracha mayo, red onion, tomato, pepper jack cheese, smoked Cherrywood bacon, and spicy guacamole on an onion bun

Looks amazing! I've never used a vortex before. Might have to add one to my list.
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

@bigmikey What's in the tatonka dust? I haven't seen it around here in Illinois. Gives a nice dark color. Man I hope you had a tall mug to drink down with that burger! Spicy!!

I have not tried Tatonka Dust.  It Lists Activated Charcoal as an ingredient.

When using a vortex, i see no one uses a foil drip pan! Is it a pain to clean up?

Good question. Don't have a vortex but often forget to use a drip pan or foil. I may not be alone.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

it just burns off anyways.
the only time i've run into problems is with pork butts and grilling bacon (whole pound at once)
and even then, its not the mess that's the problem - its the fire :)
