Steak Machine at El Mirage

This last weekend was the final SCTA time trials for the 2014 season at El Mirage dry lake bed.  We drove up Sunday morning and met up with our friends there.  All together there were 10 of us.  We took the SM to prepare lunch for the group.  The weather was perfect with no wind and we saw several records broken. 

Everything with a fine coat of El Mirage dust.


We parked right next to the return road, so we got a good look at the cars and bikes.


Baked potatoes.


Buttermilk biscuits with a hint of smoke.


Boneless thick pork chops. Smoked with hickory chips.


Waiting for lunch to cook. 


Smoked biscuits.


Juicy pork chops.



Lunch is served.



We always have plenty of help loading the table.

Ha! I was in the desert last week myself. (Abu Dhabi) Sadly, no grilling in sight. This machine is truly amazing, and we need to see more pics! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
