Sausage Pie
« on: March 01, 2014, 05:32:54 PM »
Made with some of my homemade Sweet Italian Sausage. Never made anything like this before but it came out great!

If it needs to be Heated to be Eated, I can do it on my Weber!

 That looks great !!!

 What all goes in?

The wife does up a pie with sausage, tomato & cheese that's real good....never cooked it on the kettle, tho...... ::)
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

About a pound of sausage, a half a cup of cream,a cup of shredded mozzarella,a half cup of onion and 3 eggs. Browned up the sausage and onion first and then put them in the pie shell, mixed the cream, cheese and egg together and poured it over the sausage and baked it for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the middle. I might add more to it if I make it again...maybe spinach or some other veggies.
If it needs to be Heated to be Eated, I can do it on my Weber!

That looks like something I would really like to try sometime. Almost like a quiche.
