Cast iron cooking websites
« on: December 30, 2013, 08:06:29 AM »
Does anyone have any good websites that are catered towards cooking with cast iron? I'm looking for good recipes using dutch ovens and skillets.

Hey there Tim
I don't know of any sites, but I have this book for CI dutch ovens and it has some good recipes in detail.

http://www.amazon.com/101-Things-Do-Dutch-Oven/dp/1586857851/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1388423724&sr=8-2&keywords=dutch+oven+101

Do a search on 'DO cooking' (Dutch Oven) and you'll probably get more info than you'll know what to do with.

I like using my CI pans outside. My brother gave me a DO that I haven't used yet. The first thing I want to try with it is a rustic bread.

Even just start using the CI pans with your regular recipes when cooking outside, and enjoy the results     8)
