Getting ready.
« on: September 26, 2013, 06:53:03 PM »
Getting ready for a big cook ob the weekend. I'm working tonight and don't expect to be home tilk at least 0200. But I need to get up to put a brisket ob at about 0500 in readiness for the tribe coming in hungry at 1700.

So I went shopping today and found these and grabbed some.

Do you guys rate these against the Baby Ray's?

Baby Ray's is my go to store sauce. JD is alright in my opinion but I prefer Baby Ray's (Not because they are in Wood Dale, IL either :)  )

I haven't done a brisket yet (it's next on my list) but why not put the brisket on at 0200j when you get home from work, then once it's done and you wake up, just 'cooler it' until 1700hrs...?

I've put pork-butts on just before going to bed at night, then 'cooler' them once their done just after noon-O-clock.
