Should I Keep My Avacado? Or Newer One Touch?

I really love my old 60s avocado Weber grill. I also have a newer one touch with ash catcher. I considered moving the one touch system to the old grill, but it has the three hole system, so I don't think it's possible.

I'd like to only keep one grill. Which would you keep? The vintage avocado? Or the newer one touch system?

I would keep them both unless you have a situation making you only have one. They come in handy for larger cooks.

Technically, we probably have the room but we also have a kamado Joe so it's kind of unnecessary to keep both. I have primarily been using the newer one for convenience but the old avocado looks so cool! Honestly, I'll probably stick with the avocado or keep both.

Just wish I could add an ash catcher:

The most accurate answer is to keep both. Convenience is important.  They cook slightly differently, and on big cook days, you will be grateful for the space.

Imagine this: you need 2 cooking vessels, kettle, and ceramic, but you need somewhere (3rd spot) to rest a chimney for more fuel/heat, or remove some charcoal and snuff out because it's too hot. However, you offloaded your 2nd kettle.

Let's see the 'Cado!  I've got a couple of 70's kettles on the deck that I rarely use but like to see daily.  Also have a kamado, ranch, 26er, summit, recteq, gasser and two WSMs.... also have a patient wife!  I say keep yours, you'll be glad you did.

Keep them both. If you MUSt get rid of one, keep the cado. Then do what we used to do when I was a kid. After the kettle cools off, turn the kettle upside down over a METAL garbage can. Easy-peasy.
