Very sorry to read this, I bet Molly loved grilling with you.
When my wife and kids came home with Molly 12+ years ago, I didn’t want another dog. The we’re afraid to bring her in the house, because I was so adamant about it.
Since then, Molly became my running/walking/trail/fishing buddy, popcorn and a movie buddy, drinking buddy (she loved to get a bit of beer every now and then when I cracked one open), guitar buddy, I’m not very good and she would cover her face with her paws when I played, and my mechanic sidekick.
When I worked from home, she was my co-worker. She would be like ‘Hey, boss, you’ve been sitting at your computer too long, you need a break, and I need a walk.’ If I protested, she would fart. Nothing got me out of that chair faster.
It’s amazing how she was a part of everything I did during the day, and yes, she loved grilling.
Dogs aren’t for everyone, but if you do have one…. spoil that mutt every chance you get.
