Photos not listed

Hello,

This might be already posted and I think I might know the answer already but I'll still ask. First, this is a great forum; I am learning a lot. I enjoy looking at the BBQ section that shows what people are cooking. What I've noticed is that by the time I get to page 5 or 6, there are a lot of posts that say something such as "wow! the food looks great!," however there are no photos. Are the photos stripped out of older posts because of website space limitations, or is it something else? I can see that a lot of the posts show a paperclip next to them, denoting some sort of attachment, but again when I check on one of these later pages, there aren't photos.
