Should my temp gauge fit flush?

The temp gauge on my new 22" Performer didn't fit fully flush into the silver bezel ring. The tab fit into lid correctly but somehow the top edge of the gauge sticks up. I saw a YouTube vid and it was all perfectly flush. Any suggestions?

How far is it sticking up from the outer ring? Also, if you could upload a picture of it that would be helpful.
