I roast in a converted bread machine, but there are some members into that... not sure if they use their Weber’s. But is been done with a rotisserie spit.

I've thought about this!
I know @swamprb is a coffee roasting guru.
He sent me beans roasted on his genesis and they were PHENOMENAL

I roast on a Weber 1000 gasser with a 4lb RK Drum and 50rpm motor.

Most grill rotisserie motors are @3rpm. Too slow for batch roasting.
Using a kettle would be a challenge as it would be hard to regulate the temps quickly as with a gasser.

I just roast for personal use.

The thing about roasting on a kettle over charcoal would be a hassle to regulate the heat/temp.
With a gasser it’s easy to adjust
