I just recently did a 6.7lb bone in Boston butt in my 22"... prior to this I have been having issues with keeping temp stable so decided WTH and did snake method. I have to say came out great! I mean I brined it in a fajita bath for 18 hours and injected it and seasoned it 3.5 unwrapped and 3.5 wrapped. Came out perfect! I would share photos but it did not last long after it rested and was making a slaw and forgot. However if you have never tried to brine it first it isn't a bad idea.
